Task 4

Explore the factors that determine cue rate variability over time and space

This task has been divided into 5 sub-tasks. For each of these we considered a set of case studies to look at different aspects related with cue rates, including caller ID identification on baleen whales, estimating cue rates from tags without acoustics, investigating the use of towed arrays to inform cue rates, looking at the variability in click rates across wide geographical ranges and evaluating how detectors might impact what we actually define what a cue might be.
